| Wholefood and Special Needs |
| Because wholefood is a way of life not just a food source, shopping at The Grain Grocer is a weekly event for many customers and we endeavor to get to know all who are attempting to take the FAST out of food and put back the FUN. We want our regulars to feel part of a family. Children can also share in the fun in our special "fun toy" area while Mums and dads can browse and shop feeling relaxed. We are attempting to cater for the ever increasing numbers of customers with individual needs. Launceston's African communities are always seeking food sources of which they are familiar and we are gradually finding sources for these products. Also more people today are restricted in what they can eat through an allergy problem. Unfortunately this is a world-wide trend but there are more and more products becoming available that we are attempting to source and stock. So whether it's dried fruit and nuts for the childrens' lunch, a special spice for that Indian curry, or cassava leaves for an Adult Ed. African cooking class, we have it.
